Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Open cmd
  2. Type something @
  3. Observes that the file picker would open properly
    Image
  4. Clear the prompt
  5. Type something
  6. Put your cursor before the first character (s)
  7. Prepend a whitespace ( )
  8. Put your cursor before the first character ( )
  9. Type @
  10. Observe that the file picker would not open
