Serena with Android (Kotlin) Development

Has any Android developer used SerenaMCP with Claude Code yet? Would it make Claude Code more efficient?
From what I can see, it mainly focuses on web development, so I'm hesitant to install it for Android development.

By no means does Serena focus on web development.

Concerning Kotlin - we do support Kotlin, but using an open source language server. We haven't tested it much ourselves, some things may not work well. We will eventually switch over to the jetbrains kotlin LS once it's out of alpha.

I'd recommend to just try it out with Kotlin and see how it goes :)

We are also soon releasing a jetbrains extension as code intelligence server for Serena (alternative to language server), where Kotlin will be supported as first class citizen
